Ritchie Collins

Ritchie was born in 1978 in the West Coast of Scotland, he studied Design and Illustration at the College of Building and Printing in Glasgow. After travelling for some time, Ritchie became the Gallery Manager and Resident Artist in Just Art Gallery in Morningside. Ritchie recently established his own Gallery, the Ritchie Collins Gallery, in the heart of historic Leith Shore, since Feb 2010.

Ritchie's paintings are influenced by the Scottish coast and surrounding countryside. Celtic art and myths are a permanent source of inspiration. Vibrant colour, simple form and movement are combined to give the original work its magical expressive quality.

Justine Marjoribanks

After training at Edinburgh College of Art, Justine established Just Art Gallery in 1985. Justine has since enjoyed a successful career as a professional artist specialising in figurative and Scottish landscape.

Influenced by Scottish impressionists and the Fife coast, Justine uses bold colour and expressive brush work to convey the essence of her subject. Justine can be found working in her studio at Just-Art where she enjoys talking to visitors about their work as well as her own.

 

Andy Phillipson

A professional photographer, now lives in South Queesferry. Andy has had many exhibitions throughout the UK, including "Portraits from the North" at the Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh. More of Andy's amazing photographs are available from his website: here.

Derek Muller

Derek Muller's contemporary art is becoming increasingly popular throughout the UK. His striking imagery is inspired by an enthusiasm for life in the city. Old or new architecture, people, places, events, sunshine and shadows. His website is an introduction to his bold and vibrant work which combine’s real world places or events with vivid colour and texture.

Ludmilla Kosmina

Ludmilla designs and creates one-off ceramic sculptures of people, some with humorous qualities, all of which capture the observed essence of human behaviour. Her sculptures are humorous and slightly whimsical. All of her pieces are unique both in form and personality.

Ludmilla's inspiration comes from observing life around her; she only makes figures of happy people and people enjoying themselves. Each piece is hand made using earth-stone clay, glazed and fired in electric kiln up to four times.
